CHRISTIAN NILSSON

Christian Nilsson is an Emmy Award-winning video journalist and producer, and the writer/director behind Dashcam and Unsubscribe—the $0-budget short film that became the #1 movie in the American box office in 2020.

He recently completed his second feature, Westhampton—starring Finn Wittrock, RJ Mitte, Jake Weary, and Amy Forsyth. His upcoming film, Paparazzo, appeared on the 2024 Black List and is currently in development with Passage Pictures.

The Long Island-native has produced and directed narrative, documentary, and branded videos for various media outlets, including The Atlantic, BuzzFeed, Esquire, HuffPost, MTV, VH1, and others. His documentary short The Fight To Be The Oldest Bar In NYC won a 2017 Emmy Award.

Christian is a member of the Producers Guild of America and lives in New York City.
